History of NordicTrack
NordicTrack is an exercise equipment manufacturer best know for it’s cross country ski machines. It was founded in 1975 by Edward Pauls who invented the original Nordic Track ski machine. A decade later it was acquired by CML corporation who launched a number of retail outlets, however by 1998 it had to close it’s 300 stores and was declared bankcupt.
The NordicTrack brand was acquired by another company and relaunched in the late 1990s with an extended product line up including treadmills and ellipticals as well as skiers.
